The Ponies Cuts hair studio styles and cuts hair for mature men. Mature men that want a sharp corporate haircut, and also men that have long hair and they want a modern hairstyle, age-appropriate.
Ponies Cuts’ name was inspired by the initials of the owner Prestatyn Cane and from his customers that have short and long hairstyles.
THE BRIEF:
The design brief required the scissors to be used as the main element to the logo design. The logo should have a modern twist but be readable and communicate to its targeted audience.
THE PROBLEM: The scissor is an element that is overly used by hairstylists and barbers all over the world. It should be used in such a way that would not remind the old-fashioned and common hairstylists and barbers logos.
THE SOLUTION: A simple yet bold font was selected and customized, to accommodate the logo concept needs.
The scissor’s shape was incorporated in the design in such a way that it blends in with the letters and shaped by them. Scissors shape is created and shaped by the letters N, I, C, U.
